From M5

Exit junction 27take first left (for south bound), turn right and cross the motorway (for north bound) and take the A38 to Wellington.  Travel for about half a mile until you come to a roundabout and turn right on to the B3181.  Take the 2nd left road signposted Uffculme (about 1 mile along road – don’t take the first left sign posted Uffculme School).  Drive until you come to junction where you turn left into Uffculme.
Go through Uffculme past the square and round the corner passing the church on the left, down the hill & over the bridge.  After quarter of a mile you will see a sign for Ashill to the right.  Take this road ( called Corks Hill just on the bend) and make your way to Ashill along a narrow winding road (c. couple of miles).  Motor straight through Ashill passing the little church on the left.   Continue on this road, ignoring turnings to your right or left.  Eventually you will come to a sharp right hand bend – there is a sign pointing Hayne a ¼ .  (Landmark: you will notice at this bend to the left a ford across the river.) Almost immediately after the bend you will come to a junction with a sign pointing Hayne ¼ – take this road (left).
Upper Hayne Farm is the 3rd property on the left.  There is a house on the corner where the sign post for Hayne is.  After 250 m there is another cream coloured cottage Hayne Cottage on the left.  After that the road rises and bends around to the left and you will see Upper Hayne Farm right next to the road on the left – cream colour with a sign at the entrance.

From Honiton

At the eastern junction of the A30 at Honiton, cross over the A30 – which is the slip road for the north bound A30 – and take the left turning (sign posted for the Canadian Chapel with Red Maple and Dunkeswell) on the bend just before this road joins the A30.
Follow this road up the hill and towards the top you will see a road going straight on at a bend signposted the Canadian Chapel and Dunkeswell.  Drive to Dunkeswell staying on the main road and down a hill and up the other side and eventually you will pass the Dunkeswell airfield on your left.  Continue on this road until you see a sign on your right hand side reading ‘Stentwood Community’.  Just after this sign you will see a road sign indicating a minor road coming from the left.  Take this road which soon takes a sharp turn right and follows down a hill passing some houses on your right.  Carry on down this winding road and take the next turning left which goes down a hill crosses a ford and rises again where you will eventually reach a T junction at Hayne Farm.  Turn right and Upper Hayne Farm  is the second house on right hand side which is cream coloured with a sign at the entrance.
